What to do?

Hey, I just had sex and the condom broke, neither of us noticed. I've been on the pill for 3 days but of course I'm still scared. I took the pill for the first time the day my period was over. You're supposed to take it for the first time on the first day of your period but I unfortunately mixed it up and now it might be too late. So I wanted to ask if 5 normal pills have the same effect as the morning after pill (I read that somewhere). If not, I'll definitely buy one but since they're a bit expensive, I wanted to look for other options first. I'm grateful for any tips and answers.
