I’m playing drums, about 17. Before that I learned about 3 years of piano. Today I am 63 and my band has been in the middle of the 90s, still with the same people, but for about 20 years I have also heard the song in addition to the drums.

2 years ago started with guitar again, as a change.

I started with 13 acoustic guitars without a teacher, but I always wanted to learn electric guitar and learn there on “the right guitar for me”, but I had to earn it. A campfire clamp showed me basic chords and I used them, for example, to use the chords to get melodies heard. I found ways to overwhelm him and thus become “good enough for the E”.

At 15/16 I was able to raise the issue, but unfortunately there were some frustrating experiences in this regard, which made my motivation hard to shake.

The right instrument that I could not forget was missing, because it was not affordable and inaccessible for me, also I wanted to talk it out because it was supposed to be “unsuitable for a novice”.

An alternative did not arise and the “usual” candidates gave me all nothing I would really feel comfortable with. My taste was not understood and not fulfilled.

There was also no one who would accompany me on the way of the electric guitar and teach me and the enthusiasm of my family kept within limits. Unfortunately also my own because my wishes and needs were not fulfilled.

After a long-term break, I started with guitar again and now finally learn it with the electric guitar, which has always packed me so much and which is especially beautiful and comfortable for me, the “reverse” Firebird. My feeling of the time was right, I love everything about her.

I also started with piano since February, but also made the statement that the electric guitar would always be my heart’s desire. The piano is running by the way.

Today I am 29.

Hey, Giuli14,

I can play a little piano

I played a few years, but then I stopped because the teacher was bad. Unfortunately, I find piano is the greatest instrument, I like it most. Piano music also sounds beautiful and you can actually play everything on it, even modern songs, without it sounding inappropriate.

Maybe I’ll take classes again, see 🙃

Love greetings

I’ve been playing guitar since I’m 12. Although everything is taught, after 35 years of practice, I am very useful. Bass can then be logically also. At the moment, like at the time, I’m sitting around tabs with all the strange stories and trying to expand my knowledge, basically learning never ends.

I also eventually transferred the guitar chord to the keyboard, which works very well. Who doesn’t understand it gets the impression I know what I’m doing.

Quite often, I’ve been playing drums with friends’ bands recently, but that’s not going so well; I always get confused and can’t coordinate feet and hands well.

I play lighter.

Got my first drum on the 6th. Born on the day I have been playing in the kinder garden always on twisted buckets with clips and now I am M/13 and playing with lessons since I am 61⁄2. So now more like 7 years.

I play guitar (acoustics, electric guitar, trans-acoustic, etc.), piano, piano, organ, keyboard, percussion, drums, kazoo, harmonica, triangle, etc. …

My strongest instrument is my voice! < In this I even have an education (choir, musical, operetta) ...

I started to be interested in music so at the age of 2-3 years!

Meanwhile I am “very old” and I am no longer “active”. I only play and sing in the private frame – and if I like it!

I’ve been playing piano since I’ve been four for 9 years but I’ve taught myself a little flute and ukulele a few years ago, but I think I’ve learned Ukulele again because I’ve never been able to remember the handles correctly 🥲

OK! Wow! Since I am impressed by myself … have also played nearly 7 years of Triangle, but … -> difficult instrument, as you know!

Then I took a long (!) break, but I would like it again!

I’m currently considering buying the Pearl PPS-12T! Do you think 150€ are a good price? < with holder, etc.
