What should you say if you are stopped while driving a scooter too fast?

Hi, my scooter is going a bit faster than it's allowed to, and I was wondering what the smartest thing to say would be if I get stopped? Please only give answers that I want to hear and not ones like "it's illegal." I'm aware of that.

With what excuse you’re coming, the police won’t care.

It’s freezing.

And even when you say you just bought it and knew about nix: nI times that counts

Legally, a moped from 60 km/h is considered a light-weight wheel subject to approval. The class AM also applies up to 60 km/h.
There may be mischievous policemen, but as long as he runs less than 60 km/h, most 99 % say nothing.

Unfortunately not. Only a few mopeds (from then GDR production) can actually drive 60 km/h. The AM is actually enough for that. With “normal “mopeds is allowed 45, a few Km/h over it is still tolerated, but 60 is clearly too much

In contrast to all pensioners here under your question there are actually some tips;) The most important thing is: RUHIG BLEIBEN!!! The police aren’t as stupid as we think, as soon as you’re kind of nervous or something. On the question of how much your scooter/moped goes I would answer quite normally with 45 to 48 km/h. Exactly 45 to say is always a bit noticeable as also completely legal scooters usually drive a few KM/H more. As long as they don’t have a roll or your car is hit, you’re on the safe side…

But be aware that if you’re caught lying, it may be even worse for you… So it’s best to just go where there’s no police to count on anyway:)

Hope I could help you, Ride safe

No matter what you say, you have to count on consequences.

No matter what excuses you use, the police will write an ad and you have to pay a fine. They can’t be beaten and have certainly heard all conceivable excuses.
