Since the Deutschland Ticket has been released, nobody seems to be using the Berlin subscriptions, which are twice as expensive and only allow you to travel there.
Look at the weather forecast shortly before departure, and then decide what you would like to take on clothing. Otherwise: underwear, shoes, jeans T-shirts and a jacket.
