What should I do for my 16th birthday?

My 16th birthday is at the end of fall, and I'm totally overwhelmed. I'd really like to just rent a room or a small apartment and just celebrate there. The problem is, though, that I have a lot of very different friends. Some want to drink alcohol and get drunk, while others would rather go out for a nice dinner or just play games. My friends also vary quite a bit in age. They range from late 14 to 18.

Do you think it's a better idea to have several smaller parties with the groups, or one big one.

I had the idea of ​​having a pool party because then those who want to drink can drink, and those who don't can swim. I can have a buffet, decorate everything nicely, easy. The problem is, it's almost certainly going to be way too cold, and I'm not allowed out in my garden in the evenings so as not to disturb the neighbors.
I would like the idea of ​​a big party 🙂 I'm also very good at organizing and it's very easy for me, I'm just lacking ideas.

Does anyone have any ideas, or something similar? What did you do for your 16th birthday?
