You can cook what you want. And if the Indian cuisine is common with you, that’s right. If someone isn’t used to it, it might be a little more economical with the spices. (I remember my own year abroad…. double placement with a Mexican. One night she cooked, extra mild. Our guest mother (Canadian) and I still felt a fire extinguisher. She was just used to a lot of sharper food.

I’d advise you to hire yourself. For example, I did not like to eat “classical German” and it was not cooked accordingly.

You could do that or maybe something from the country where the exchange student comes from (where?), alternatively maybe an Indian appetizer/disease/contribution and something typical of the country of the exchange student as the main food.

Hello

Of course you can give her that to eat, but of course not every day – unless she asks for it.

Best regards

Yeah, I’d change. The exchange student is longer with you. Just do something Indian. What’s common with you? She wants to know your culture.

Hello,

You live in Germany and the person wants to get to know German culture. Cook a German traditional dish and teach her something about German culture. Finally, the person is making her year of exchange in Germany and not in India.
