I only have a “normal” sister myself, but I think a step sister would also give me exactly what I would give to my normal sister. It’s family.
In doing so, I would be strongly oriented towards the interests. Do it or like it e.g. hockey, give it to your racket or something.

So have a half-sister and two stepbrothers. I don’t give anything to my brothers because there is no connection or you know too little. But my half-sister sometimes so time gifts. So do something together. Or go to dinner together is always nice.
