What happens to leftover food on the plane?
Hi, I'm flying for the first time soon and I'm a little nervous. My question might sound a bit strange, but what happens to the food you don't eat on a plane? Does the flight attendant come around at some point with a trash can and collect the "trash"? And what if you haven't finished eating by then? Do you have another chance to dispose of the trash later, or does it just sit there annoyingly in front of you the whole time?

They spread in one round and clean up in a new round. If you’re not finished, it’s still standing and the flight attendants are running around like in the restaurant. If no one comes, you have the possibility to call the button. The button is above your head where the ventilation nozzles are.

They collect the garbage several times during the flight (depending on how long it is).

They’ll go around and collect this, at the latest before landing, when the tables are folded up.
