If you want to rent a car, you must first find a car rental company that rents to such young drivers (take them at significantly higher prices) and allow trips abroad.

Renting a car privately would at least save the high cost block car hire.

But: You should have a power of attorney from the holder that you should drive the car abroad. In addition, the insurance must be used to determine whether other drivers are insured at all at the age, that is more expensive and therefore does not have everyone.

In addition, the person must of course be fine with his own car being gone. Plus the risk that scratches or, if necessary, in the event of an accident do not occur at all. Also it should be addressed what happens if you have a breakdown, who pays that then, especially if there is something not self-inflicted general in the car, but depending on where you are on the road, the reperature may be is more expensive than in home.

Just the subject of damage should not be underestimated, I had this at a rental car abroad, normally parked in a parking lot when I came back parking other cars next to and on the mirror and the side were new scratches. Yeah, the parking lot was tight, so all the places there, but with something you came in or out there anyway, someone seemed to have no desire on it and just hit my car. Luckily without consequences, as the car already had scratches that were in the handover protocol and did not steal the new ones, but it was annoying anyway. Well, there would have been parts of the security deposit at worst, at a private car where the owner doesn’t find it funny, and if you weren’t careful well enough, the consequences would be. others.

Renting a car with 18 will be difficult. Many do not rent 18 years. It would be better if you borrowed from family, friends or a car.

And that was exactly the question why do you repeat the question?

Where did I repeat the question? If you can’t recognize an answer, you should leave it.

Why do you care? Why do you have to be right? Isn’t there any other people here that you can nerve?

No, you didn’t write that. You just repeated the question. Literally everything you write in your answer, the FS has listed in his question. And where I write something, you’re lucky not to decide:-)

No, he asks what’s worth more. So please just leave it and annoy someone else.

FS asks for rent, not rent. You only repeat the question of renting instead.

Depends on where you want.

For the first time, the person who gives you this must see if so many and especially young foreigners are involved in the insurance they have. Then it also applies abroad.

Secondly, in the case of private vehicles which do not belong to oneself, it is necessary, for example, in Italy to have a certified authorization of the owner of the car. More details for more countries see here: https://www.tcs.ch/de/camping-reisen/reiseinformationen/knowledge/vehicle regulations/ausgeliehenes-fahrzeug.php#anchor_145958a9_Accordion-Italy

In the end, it is probably easier to rent a car. Sixt in Germany rents to Neulenker from 18.
