What does a dispatcher do at Deutsche Bahn?

there are different dispatchers on the train.

The route components determine the order of the trains on a route.
Example:
A freight train runs in front of an ICE. The dispatcher now has a service manager; to drive the freight train into an overhaul track and let the ICE pass over.

Each division has its own disponents. Depending on the area, they organize the work.

Other disponents include:
– Area components
-Flotting/vehicle components
-Personal disponents

Then a lot of activity-related disponents. One disposes of the maintenance in the workshop, the next disposes of emergency technology, others dispose of the supply of on-board bistro, etc.
