Either take baking paper trays (as with muffins) or place the dough smoothly and rectangularly on baking sheet and then cut into pieces.

Here the Backbibel as pdf:

What to do wrong with cookies:

  • Not preheated
  • Too low temperature/too high temperature, 175 degrees would be optimal
  • Backteig set to hot sheet
  • Dough not done before 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator
  • Don’t stick to the recipe, it would be better for beginners

I always pack my cookie dough into the freezer and then shape balls.
They then run smoothly and become super juicy!

Otherwise, is it perhaps the attitude?
I always use air circulation or over the underheat.

LG and good success

There’s a lot of butter/fat in there and the temperature is too low.

Dough on the baking sheet, best with iceball pliers. Then 30 min. In the refrigerator and only really cold bake in the preheated 175 ° oven medium rail about 10 minutes. Watch the dough.

The dough must be cold so that it does not break so fast. And for several sheets, the sheet must cool each time before the next layer Keksteig comes on.

They are very uneven.. in the middle quite thick and on the sides very thin..

Make a bullet and then press it flat.
