I got one just about 10 years ago. cost was nearly 4-5000 euro. I can’t say exactly because I’ve done more about importing and that I’ve also claimed additional benefits.

in addition to transport, import, customs, etc. also have to expect tüv conversions. blinker, flashback, nsl, return light, etc everything has to be rebuilt. depending on the wall can become more expensive.

edit: important is also where exactly in the states you buy the car. my came directly from miami, therefore practically because the harbour is also close. the shipping to bremerhaven and from there to the importer was also not so far. if your car is in the states as well as away from nem harbour – this must first bring jdm.

That also depends on what kind of car you buy. So first you have to pay the transport to the port. Then the shipping (≅200€) and possibly a transport insurance.

As soon as the car is then in Bremerhaven, there are also the unloading costs (375€), customs clearance (125€) import turnover tax (19%), import duty (22% for trucks mostly also for pickups, 10% for cars, duty free for old cars in their original condition)

If you don’t pick up the car yourself in Bremerhaven, the transport to you will come home

And, depending on the vehicle, there is, of course, a change in gear for European roads, and the admission to this

In any case, import turnover tax of 19%

Freight costs (containers)

Single withdrawal at TÜV

Conversion costs for German (EU) admission

…and more!

Not your import car, but a car from this series, which was equipped for the German/European market.

I looked into your (school) questions.

Your misunderstanding about admission issues made this necessary….

What do you think the Gaul in D costs twice?

Please leave my comment and understand it in content! This D-approved vehicle got an EU equipment from the USA factory! This is not the case with your US pal….

But you still have a few years to drive…

Often the boxes can’t be operated legally here. Forget it.

Redsereien and forwarding offer price on the net. Can you get Google?

Then check “Ship Cargo Automobile USA Europe”.
