What could that be?
Short description:
Our dog tore his cruciate ligament in January and subsequently underwent surgery. (We don't know if this is related because it's on the scar.)
He started biting and licking there about two months ago. (A small hole can be seen on the right) We have tried various things –
•Simply de-stain and leave to air
•Disinfect and cover with a plaster and/or bandage
•Beta Isadonnia
•A remedy for hotspots or similar
everything has been unsuccessful so far.
Do you have any idea what it could be and what else we could try?
We will definitely go to the vet tomorrow or Monday, but maybe we can achieve something here too

Ich würde da auch nicht tausend Sachen drauf klatschen,die eventuell keine Wirkung haben, weil sie nicht für diese Art Verletzung sind. Schnapp dir deinen Hund und geh schnellstmöglich zum Tierarzt. Vor allem wenn er da rein beißt oder ähnliches deutet das schon auf Schmerzen/ Beschwerden hin
Mit welcher Methode wurde operiert ? TPLO ? Sind da noch Platten drin ?
Wenn der Hund da herumbeisst dann schmerzt oder juckt die Stelle. Es wird nichts nützen die Wunde zu behandeln sondern man muss die Ursache beseitigen. Lass mal eine Kontrollröntgen machen. Das wäre der erste Schritt.
