Prerequisite for AM is minimum age 15. And by the age of 16 you can only drive with it within Germany due to the German special rule. From 16 onwards, the AM is also valid throughout the EU.

With regard to vehicle selection, 2-4 wheels always apply

  • Maximum speed 45km/h
  • Maximum 4KW engine power
  • Maximum 50ccm

Conditioned by the agreement agreement (Chapter XI, p. B, section III, paragraph 2, proviso 21; also §76 FeV point 8 paragraph 1b) the 60km/h rule applies only to 50ccm GDR-Mopeds (except SR 4-3 “Sperber”) until 28 February 1992 in the GDR or FRG have been approved.

I don’t know them. Is it registered at 45 km/h? Doesn’t she have more than 4 KW performance? And doesn’t she have more than 50ccm? If the derby has too much power at one point, for example too much power, you cannot drive it with the AM.

At 15 you can do it.

This allows you to drive most of the passengers at 45 km/h, also so-called moped cars such as aixam, ligier, casalini etc
