At Paypal, he can’t do any harm with your e-mail address unless he could crack your password, but you certainly have been so vigilant and have enabled authentication via code that sends you a code to your smartphone when you log in.

At the IBAN it is actually a bit more relaxed. The criminal would have to fake a debit mandate, which is possible, but you can apply for a debit.

Nevertheless, beware of the following actions:

You send the “Friends” option to PayPal and you send it to another account via your bank account. In both cases, it is difficult to get the money back, as it was a voluntary payment from you, and because in both cases you have to hope for the cash of the recipient because the bank cannot simply take the money away from a customer account. In the case, the account owner must be OK to give XD

Unless you can prove that it is a typing error or the like. But it’s also difficult. What is important is: NOT WARTEN, but act immediately.

You can reimburse an ad for fraud, for example, if you transfer money, but your business partner does not send any goods. The police will take care of this.

The one could send you a Scam email claiming that you have received a payment. In most cases, so that you can have any codes for credit cards.

If you pass on something from PayPal at all, then not his mail address but his PayPal.Me (a kind of nickname that should not allow conclusions on one as a person).

That could be the person, but you can leave it back through your bank. In case of an unauthorized direct debit. You can’t do anything with your PayPalAddress.

Well, if the wrong people have your email address including the info that is used for PayPal, you might be tempted to hack your PayPal account, send you phishing mails, enter your address in spam distributor… It would be more useful to set up a PayPal.me link and only to share it. In addition, fraudsters like to try to get back the payment via the buyer protection once the goods have been received.

The IBAN is actually the safest method. As long as you keep an eye on your sales, nothing can happen. If someone is using to pay anywhere by direct debit, the debit is simply and quickly recovered. Most banks are very comfortable about online banking/app.

Yes. However, don’t rely on such stories that you’re supposed to transfer PayPal to receive the money. If someone sends you money, you’ll see it in a PayPal account right away. And of course not click links in emails and enter the login data there.
