You could buy generic WS2812b LED strips or other WS2812b LED products and install them in the housing.

The addressable RGB (ARGB) header from the motherboard and the compatible RGB products use the WS2812b standard or are at least compatible with it. So you can use the RGB controller from your motherboard for it.

With many LEDs above all, you have to pay attention to the power supply. Many motherboards can only provide 5V 3A (15W) via the connection. A 100 LED RGB strip, e.g. the, can pull up to 30W (5V 6A) at 100% white on all LEDs. As a fix you can easily get 5V from SATA or Remove Molex connection of the power supply. So 5V + GND to the Netil and Data and GND to the 3 Pin ARGB connection of the motherboard.

When you connect, you have to become a little creative, because not the matching plug is on. For example, ARGB/SATA/Molex adapters, you could steal the plug and connect the cables manually. Probably you need your own cables. So you’d have to deal with electronics.

I have installed the shown RGB stripes at behind glass side pane so that it lights the LEDs into the center of the loop. Depending on the case, you may find other creative corners. Depending on the selected position, your PC does not have to be built apart. There are only a few individual cables to the cable managment.

If you don’t want to do so much yourself, you can also buy finished RGB strips that already have an ARGB connection. These will probably be more expensive.
