What can I take from it?
I have a Victus by HP 15L Gaming PC with an Intel Core i7 13700F and a 4060ti and want a new case, but many say that some components are soldered or something like that, so I wanted to ask what I can remove, or what I might need to buy.
HP often uses proprietary motherboards and power supplies that are not compatible with the ATX standard. In addition, the CPU cooler is often screwed to the housing instead of using a backplate on motherboard, which you may also need to buy new ones.
Hello,
theoretically you can use everything. However, such prefabricated PCs often use proprietary hardware. For example, the motherboard does not have a standard shape factor and therefore does not fit into other housings.
What can be safely assumed are processor, memory, graphics card and mass storage. It won’t be worth the rest.
