I bought a fighting fish today at 3 pm,
I tested the water yesterday and the water values were good. The only problem is that the betta fish doesn't swim much and is often on the ground and in corners despite the good water values.

Initially, I'll be doing twice-weekly water changes and adding Seachem Prime. My question: How long do I have to wait until I can add shrimp (and then small fish)?

Das ist oft so und kann ein paar Tage andauern. Fische erleben beim Transport und bei der Umsetzung extrem Stress. Außerdem muss er sich auch generell erst an die neue Umgebung gewöhnen:)

Generell schwimmen Kampffische (besonders Langflossige) nicht viel.
Aber das kommt auch aufs Becken an. Hast du da ein Foto? Und wie schaut denn der restliche Besatz aus?
Vielleocht ist er noch gestresst von dem Umzug? Ich würde ihn erstmal in Ruhe lassen…
