What is your opinion on tretinoin?
As far as health is concerned.
I'm 15 and have had acne for four years. I've tried everything, but nothing has helped. I'm now considering going to a dermatologist and getting a prescription for Acnatac, which I was given about two years ago but didn't want to take because it contains tretinoin, which has serious side effects.
I still don't want to take it because of all the side effects, but I can't take it anymore with this skin… nothing helps…
what is your opinion on this?
I have acne since 4th grade. I am 18 now and I still have them, not particularly strong, but noticeable. I have been taking isotretinoin lowdose for a few weeks, i.e. 10 mg a day, normal I would have to take 30-60 MG but the side effects are too strong to me. I only have good dry lips and maybe eyes (but my eyes can also be irritated by my contact lenses) but I already notice a little better skin. I can’t get any new pimps. see how it is in a couple of weeks. I can only recommend that you take 10mg a day. then the treatment takes longer, but less side effects. And if you don’t get pregnancy on the tablets, then the child will be misimaged.
Did you try “everything” under medical supervision or self-research? When in self-research, first ask the doctor what he thinks about whether the causes can find out and specifically propose a therapy.
Tip: In acne, the diet seems to play a role.
But here too, it is important to ask the doctor first, as simply to google and believe everything you find!
With acne, a lot of money is made, with all possible means, which then do nothing. It is played with the hope of those affected! So not just buy or try anything.
So I’ve tried everything on my own in skincare.
I have also tried to change my diet, but it is very hard but I eat, for example, only 1 times a week almost food and avoid dairy products. somehow I think my diet will change it but nix.
What do you mean therapy? It’s a bad idea how to find causes?
the last thought when I was there about 2 years ago, that is the best at acne” and so
Sometimes there are special causes, so diseases that cause acne. The doctor should actually know exactly how to proceed. If the prescribed drug/ cream does not work with you, you should go to the same doctor and report it back.
Self-reality is such a thing – that can go well, but there are also JEDE MENGE dubioser mediums, whether it be domestic or industrial products. You can be lucky with that, but bad luck.
If the skin doctor doesn’t have a good idea, I’d rather get a second opinion. In the pharmacy you can also ask, but sometimes there is more value on sale than on real advice.
You just have to be aware that you are going to self-research for trial and error.
For example, alcohol was recommended earlier, today it is said that the skin dries out and only harms it right. Until then, however, many have treated their skin with alcohol against acne. At puberty picks, toothpaste was previously recommended as a home remedy. In the evening, the picket was filled with small toothpasteups, which burned quite strongly, and the pimples were expressed the next morning. This worked, but led to new inflammations, which of course no one knew, because mouth-to-mouth propaganda without medical clarification.
The stupid thing was: at that time, almost no one was with the doctor, instead, they took the tips from the advertisement of the circle of friends.
The doctor should actually have the expertise and know what is the cause and what specifically helps against this cause. Also, which side effects have different means, for whom they are suitable and for whom not.
okay, thanks, pharmacy I’ve already tested a lot too nix. What should I do now? The problem with the arsenals the side effects and the cause are actually no matter what they prescribe anything and done.
