I am particularly interested in the history of the Roman Empire. I find the ruler biographies very exciting, as they were very different characters. Many politically developed things happen again and theoretically could be learned from the then mistakes. It is surprising that both the individual people today commit similar mistakes and that the rulers make similar mistakes.

The special of the time is, we know how something has developed and can analyze what it was. What will change the world today, that will only show the future.

Latin a stupid language? Hmm, don’t you go to school on Friday? Otherwise you would have to know that -twenty thousand words in the German stupid Languages are borrowed.

I had to learn French in school instead of Latin, that was just a crap. Because of six in French, I had to repeat the 9th grade.

My wish was to study history and accordingly my parents also had me registered for Latin, but the teachers thought it better to know. In my opinion, one of the many things that I have already shown that teachers are often not educators. I was packed into the French class against my parents’ wishes.

Did Latin really get you something?

Good morning flame boy,

aside from the fact that in every century really bad things have happened, I choose this century.
I still have the hope that it will be better.
Wish you a pleasant day and very kind regards. :

19. The century already ended with industrialization in Europe and some ingenious inventions, such as the automobile.

20. The century was a century of other great inventions, speed, progress, great world events (e.g. moon landing, division of Germany/Europe and fall of the wall), but also crimes and wars, especially the two world wars.

The 19th century was an absolutely interesting time in every respect. Innovative in every way. We still worship the achievements of the time.

I don’t know why but I feel kind of full of the 16th. century dressed (thus 1501-1600).

The century in which I was born, the others I know partly only from history books, a time that cannot really be traced.

The century I find good because it is interesting and easy to find good classical music.

Historically, the 19th century. For in this time many of the most important inventions of mankind have been made and civilization has made the greatest leap ever.

I honestly don’t want to go back to the time before the year 2000. The technical and medical advances alone make a much better living.

the second half of the 20. Century. I think that was the most compelling time for a person in Germany ever.

But only if you looked German was male, heterosexual and not poor. All others were also in the same great 70s and 80s goal of spotting and contempt.

Female wasn’t that bad either. My family never had a lot of money, it’s almost going to “poor”. But you’re right, as a guest worker, for example, it certainly wasn’t easy. But was that in the other yearolds?
