The reading and spelling disorder (LRS), professionally speaking Legasthenie (from Latin legere “read” and ancient Greek ἀσθένεια asthéneia, German “smooth”, i.e. “read weakness”)[1], refers to the massive and long-lasting disorder of the acquisition of the written language (written language). On the other hand, a mere weakening of performance (e.g. of pupils compared to peers) is referred to as read-write weakness.

Legsthenia is common.

There are problems when drawing individual letters together.

Texts are read (slow) but the person concerned does not understand the content. Many spelling errors are made noticeably, even in intensively practiced words. It writes words right, sometimes wrong.

That’s not bad.

You can handle the Legasthenie.
