What is a good time for 50 meters freestyle in swimming?

I'm a 17-year-old male, and in my school swimming class, which I've been attending once a week for the past two months, I swam 50 meters front crawl in 33 seconds. Is that a good performance?

I think it’s pretty hard to get under the 30 seconds, as 33 seconds is already a very sporty time. At 50 meters it is not so difficult to need 33 seconds if you are generally athletic very fit. But if you don’t swim so much, it’s just harder to get under the 30 seconds without proper technique training.

Respect, I think it’s a very good time. Be there for a little slower😂 Vllt you think about it again as you look at it at speed, then you might come under the 30 seconds. You could also go to a indoor swimming pool more often and train there if you want to get under 30.

Good luck and greetings

Are you actually swimming in the club or only at school?

33 seconds is very good. I don’t think you’re coming under 30 seconds, but you need to ask your body.

Well, the world record at the 50m train swimming is about 21 seconds, so I’d say you’re pretty good with it
