The insured portion (own portion) is what your parents need to spend during the orthodontic treatment. 20% and 10% (if several children are in treatment) of quarterly accounts. The cash register is then 80% or 90%.

The own contribution is refunded after the treatment has been successfully completed. The share of the cash register thus amounts to 100% of the treatment.

Reimbursement of the own component is excluded only in the event of lack of participation, for example when the treatment is terminated by the patient or active participation does not take place in spite of repeated exhortation.

Regardless of this, an additional cost agreement can be reached with the orthodontic orthodontist if one wishes a high-quality supply. Of course you don’t get this share refunded.

Yeah.

You’ll get all the bills you’ve received during the treatment at the health insurance and receive them.

That’s it. The orthodontist shall issue a certificate and the health insurance shall reimburse the total own contribution.

The insured part is actually the part you or your parents have to pay directly when you get a brace. But at the end of the treatment you get a part of it back from the insurance. Well, yes, that’s the part of the insured person you get back, not the part of the cash register. Cool, right?

You get the full share of your own. Unless it is a lack of participation. In this respect, the inherent part is an incentive to successfully complete the treatment.

However, there is no refund for an additional cost agreement.
