Revolut works completely online, account is opened in a few minutes. No mail, except to get the card, many modern features such as virtual cards etc., as card gives ne Visa Debit. The app is leading and offers many functions.

The Sparkasse, on the other hand, is a Filialbank, where you open the account on site and receive lots of letters for online things. It’s also quite expensive. As a card there is an outdated girocard. Apps are old-baked and offer little features. Is rather something for people who need a bank on site (now unnecessary).

where you open the account on site

You can also do this online and often even simply refer to eID.

She’s also quite expensive.

There are some who also offer an online account. Some for 5€, some for 3€, some even for free at minimum fee.

As a card there is an outdated girocard.

No. As a map, there is the most sensible of all. A combination of Girocard and Mastercard/Visa Debit. So the acceptance joker.

I’m not a savings bank myself. But one should remain objective and truth 😉 I also see some other advantages.

At Sparkasse München, for example, you have to pay 5€ for the Giro extra model, you have 20 bookings then costs each more 35 cent. Each card payment from 10€, each apple pay payment and each direct debit is considered a booking. You can easily get to over 10€ as a variety.

At Revolut, on the other hand, you have unlimited free card payments. I think you don’t have to discuss

Yeah, that’s a negative example. But don’t apply to all 350 savings banks. For others you only pay the 5€ and have all bookings included.

Revolut is not a classic household bank, you rent their licenses at real banks. This does not mean that your money is less secure there. I’ve been using revolute for 4 years and I’m very happy!

That’s wrong. Revolut himself has a bank license and, by the way, 30 million customers.

Sure. As I said, online functions are even much better than classic German banks.

You can also look at N26 and bunq, which are also great.

The lack of confidence in a Lithuanian IBAN would be one of the differences for me.
If I’m going to buy something and transfer it to a Lithuanian IBAN, that makes me a certain abdominal pain.

The problem is quite different: A transfer is not a normal payment method for buying things, at least in normal countries. This is only common in Germany because you often have no cards with which you can pay normally.

Sorry LottoOtto99, as I pay, I already decide, and whether a transfer for me is a normal payment method, I also decide – and not you.

You can decide what’s normal for yourself. I decide for myself.

At Revolut you charge your account via Apple pay, then you pay directly from your credit. It’s like a second current account. What Lithuanian IBAN does hardly use anyone

You may like to assume that I (almost) use the complete range of payment options. Besides Klarna and BTC, I use all that makes sense for me.

Of course you can, but then you have to live with the homemade problems. The whole world pays by card, only the Germans make so funny actions.
