Clementine is a mandarin species.

Orange = applesine (the name varies regionally). With us in Bavaria you only use the name “Orange”.

oranges are larger and more acidic than the others. clementines are smaller and have a sweeter aroma. apples are similar to orange, taste but milder and are a bit more juicy. mandarins are between clementines and apples in size and taste, but they have less juice than apples
