Can I refrigerate the cookie dough before putting it in the oven (of course), but will that change the consistency or the baking process? Or is it better to put it straight into the oven? Or does it make no difference at all?

Yeah, that’s the same fox. The fox is the same both in Erlangen and here in SW.
I’m not a fan of Beck either.
I usually don’t go to a baker and take some baking rolls. For the simple reason, because in my vicinity is only “The Beck”. This is unfortunately the biggest and worst baker in and around Nuremberg. The baked goods are dry and taste old, but are most expensive.
The next “Fuchs” bakery would be in Altdorf approx. 20 km from me.
What fox are you going to?
Despite the high prices, Hohneder! The Stiftbäckerei in Salzburg is also very nice.

My is the bakery Maier near Braunau am Inn. There are still flour foods that have not changed since the 60s.

“Grafmühle” … < is one of the oldest mill and bakery companies in Germany. Is a small family business and active since 1713!
Of course 100% organic and meanwhile so modern that they advertise with “Slow Bakery”!
