Was ist das für eine Schraube?

Hallo,

The screw head actually seems to be outside the standard, probably to prevent theft. Apparently needs a special key to open.

I would ask the seller if he had such a key for you. You could open the screws. If he can’t help you, you can get similar screws with inbus head either with him or in the construction market and replace the screws.

Screw a pattern screw out (e.g. with a Schrauenroter) and get inbus screws at the construction market or even better at the screw or iron goods store. Then exchange them all.
If you can’t release the screws, go to the bicycle dealer. He can help you. He might also have the spare screws with inbus head.

I also had to googlen:

This screw head drive meansY type(english, Chinese: Y TRI), alsoY形(Chinese, translated: Y-shaped),Tri-point(named by U.S. tool manufacturer) orTrigram. However, in North America and Europe it is often driven by the above-mentioned screw driveTri-Wingdesignated.

My answer has accidentally landed under the brook stilt, sorry.

Here again:

So exactly these screw heads are called Y-Type screw heads in the wiki. What round do you mean? The basic shape is the lens head. On the outside there is a flat ring, a flange. So you haveY-Type cutting head screws with flange.

I didn’t find those screws.

This is a typical “safety bit”, but with some caution it can be detached or tightened with a suitable flat screwdriver which fits slightly obliquely in 2 of the 3 recesses.

The screws with WD-40 also spray from the other side and then forcefully beat the bit in there to the need. You have a lot of bits you can try with, even those for the simple slot screws. You just have to exert proper pressure on the screw before you start turning.

? I just wrote four. Why don’t they fit? Are they too big or too small?

Yeah, they’re called 1,2,3 and four, real Y-bits. Are they all too big?

I trust to get those screws out with a normal screwdriver (and WD-40). However, it must have the right width. (Don’t worry, I have them all).

Yes, a set with the right Y-bits would of course be better. Here you can see what sizes there are:

Y0 or Y00, I’ll take you.
