What kind of beetle is this?
Hello, I had larder beetle larvae a while ago, and recently I've discovered these small black beetles. They don't look like larder beetles, at least not the ones I found online. When you crush them, they start to smell, but I can't describe the smell. But they don't look like stink bugs either.

I found leaves stuck together on my two Veronica bushes. They were covered in green caterpillars. Does anyone recognize this caterpillar? To me, as a layperson, the caterpillar has no distinctive features like spots or stripes. Dead specimens are completely black. A quick Google search only revealed aphids and spiders as pests on this plant.
I don’t know too well with insects, but I’d say this is a kind of jumping tail. I have those in my terrarium, these are white/transparent and smaller, but have a similar shape
