Wieso Feiern soviele Döner. Sehe sehr oft große Schlangen vor Dönerläden. Finde Döner ist jetzt kein Highlight.

The human palate likes temperate meat. It’s been a long time. People like to combine bread with other things like sausage or Nutella etc….. Bread is classic and widely used
There are also quite different variants. Like burgers or burritos etc.
If I reckon I stay hungry at Mac for 9€, there’s a delicious diner for 5€ and I’m really tired.
In Switzerland, a Döner costs between 9 and 12 francs (average, always goes more expensive). Not the cheapest. Nevertheless, it eats very many people. So it must be tasty. If the quality of the Döner is correct, then a Döner is really delicious.

Currently perhaps not, but before you have got a (at least vegetarian) döner often for 3,50 €. So for little money a lot of stuff. It’s worth more than a burger and a small portion of pommes for the same money at McD.
