What is in my cat's ear?
Veterinarian No. 1 initially suspected ear mites, which they treated with a solution. It helped for a short time, but then a swelling was discovered in the ear.
Veterinarian 2 referred me to a clinic.
At the clinic, veterinarian 3 said it wasn't ear mites. The tumor was removed, and on her advice, I should continue treating her ears with the solution until they were empty.
The surgery was two months ago. The solution has been used up.
She seemed to be doing well until she started excreting occasionally.
Due to work reasons, I had to leave the cat in care for two weeks and when she came back today, it was worse than ever.
The entire ear is brown on both sides, full of smelly residue and occasional white creamy pus.
Are these ear mites?
It smells like a carcass.
it is, of course, a pleasure for me that you indirectly confirm once again how little animal-protected with cats have,
from the excretion, so much for ohrmilbes
but it can be ohrmic + ohr infection with bacteria, you have to look more closely into the ohr,
animals hate the ohr treatment,
unfortunately, you only know the choice of a completely new veterinarian, you the old I wouldn’t go,
for ohrmilben I accept advocate spoton, but there are 2 medium in it, moxidectin and imidacloprid
the moxidectin eliminates the mites,
Can be cat kits yes
Thank you. I’ll go to the veterinarian tomorrow I’m still burned out financially from the surgery so I can’t run four-foot to different. This assumption may be helpful with laboratory tests.
Ui, no… ear mites are quickly fixed…and do not look so rough. They often get kittens and they’re fixed in the nut… just like worm attack…
But never looks as rough as what your cat has in the ear, despite the treatment of ear mites… which usually works immediately.
Although our kittens were never affected by this…but I already got animals with such an infestation that had just been fixed in a nut and didn’t look so rough.
Hello,
Oh, my God, that looks really bad!
No, they won’t be ear mites. This reads after middle ear infection/expansion with a persistent bacterium. Jeez, that your acquaintance has not acted in time is a mystery to me.
I assume that your cat will have severe pain, possibly also grieving, keeping your ears visibly different than otherwise and certainly not looking happy.
I would pack the cat in the morning and as an emergency acute patient in a veterinarian’s practice with various veterinarians and themes “stop” and also make a smear.
I see urgent need for action here.
Addendum: Apparently, your cat is also exposed to immense stress due to multiple omissions to other places and humans + permanent ear infection (multiple smears, multiple antibiotics + surgery). Under these circumstances, it would certainly be very useful if the perser cat could come to rest and remain stable in their home in order to be able to fully recover.

Especially for cats it is immensely important to have a usual environment for rest, even if they always like to have other sleeping places at home and re-us their smell elsewhere and claim an area for themselves.
In an apartment without a single smell of itself…a torment, which is like changing the circle of friends every day and having to explore the new apartment/house there.
Someday one of the skulls burst
The veterinarian will answer that. I’m typing on mites, but I wonder if You’ve seen what’s not i.o, but not to the veterinarian.
Because I was regularly cleaned up by the veterinarian except for another free selling agent.
I go veterinarian anyway, but I was on my own 6 times at veterinarian number 1, when that didn’t work I was looking for advice from veterinarian 2 and was with him also regularly, she got two different antibiotics. When the antibiotics were exhausted, he sent me to the animal clinic where they were ultimately operated and after being examined when the solution was exhausted, it was so good with the ear as I was recommended for regular cleaning. Then I started stressing and I gave the cat and the means of care. It’s easy to judge if you’re not in the same shoes.
