What problems does Instagram have?

Instagram has had so many problems since last year, constantly crashing and other things! I wanted to create a new account, but it keeps saying "an unknown network error." And no one should tell me my internet is messed up. No, I created an account last month and everything worked fine, and I'm not the only one having problems. To prove it, I saw reviews for the app, and they had the same problem. Does anyone else have this, and how can I reverse it?
