What do you think of the poem?
Many have already attempted
to start a completely new life,
to value it highly afterwards,
to continue his old one again.
(The author of this little poem is Eugen Roth, but I don't know for sure.)
Does anyone know anything about this cartoon and can say what it means?
Good day, I've had a bad cough for a few weeks now (it was triggered by my cat, to which I had an allergic reaction, but after giving the cat away, it didn't improve). For the past three days, I've had severe pain/burning between my chest, and there's a slight hint of blood in the…

Hey, I have a question regarding a Russian assignment, but I think it doesn't matter whether you can speak Russian or not… so: Are “nominative singular + plural” the same as “singular and plural of nouns”? It would be nice if someone could help me… If the above ⬆️ isn't true, could someone explain to…
Hello, I've had new glasses for a few weeks now and the lenses have already gotten a lot thicker. I've been having problems with vertigo since then. Is that why it's happening? My eyes also hurt and get tired very quickly. Should I go to the optician again
Is it beneficial to take Ashwagandha only every two days instead of every day, or are there no positive effects on the body?

I would also like to know the author….! 🙂
That’s right, too.

That’s the point! Eugen Roth is known for these little philosophies.
To lay down old or bad habits and to replace them with new ones does not go from today to tomorrow. If you want to achieve too much change at once, you almost automatically fall back into the old behavior patterns. Learning new or accustoming to one another costs strength. Our brain prefers to choose the more comfortable way and stays with what it is used to. Therefore, it is always sensible to integrate the new into everyday life and thus into (new) life in small steps
Not every change is positive especially if this brutal, unthinkable and much pure self-interest etc are carried through without paying attention to what impact this could have on other people, the extended environment and the environment
Just as little as some old behavioral procedures always adhere to stringently, without even taking into account other views which would bring an improvement.
