Hello

What are the differences concerning alcohol strength between both: (alcohol-free champagne, sweet champagne, mild champagne and semi-dry champagne)?

“Alcohol-free champagne” has a certain residual alcohol content. It is slightly fluctuating and must be lawful below 0.5% alcohol lie. This champagne variant can exist in all flavors, from Brut Nature to sweet.

Lovely champagne, mild champagne and semi-dry champagne, are flavors of sparkling wines. These are regulated by EU regulation. They each treat a range of a residual sugar content. The alcohol content is not decisive here, with the exception, all variants must have a minimum alcohol content of 10% according to the wine regulation.

ABER…

The taste “lovable” does not exist in sparkling wines.

“lovable” can only be found with wine.

As far as your question…

The Tastes of wine & sparkling wine are listed separately, are not matched to each other and do not correspond to any real sensation.

Here it is always and only a classification by residual sugar content.

Otherwise, the variant “mild” would not exist either. What’s mild? I know a mild weather. I haven’t seen a mild wine or sparkling wine yet. If anything, I would see a context for a balance. This is not meant by “mild”.

With “mild” the EU regulation means a sweet sparkling wine. Both in English and French, this taste is also called “sweet” and “doux”. In the German language, an M I L D is made therefrom.

My opinion, the EU regulation on the tastes of wine & sparkling wine, is a single scandal. Even the winegrowers revolt over it and as consumers, all those dangers that like to whip from wine to sparkling wine and mean to be able to take over the flavors in this way. This almost automatically leads to mistakes.

As far as a small explanation of your tastes is concerned. That wasn’t your question.

Happy You… and stay healthy

Greeting, RayAnderson 😉

How much percent does Sekt have maximum?

A prosecco has at least 10.5 % (frizzante) and at least 11 % (spray) alcohol content. With an alcohol content of at least 10%, champagne has the lowest minimum content. However, most champagnes contain between 11 and 12 %

Spumante, is the sweetest cult.

Alcohol-free champagne is (approximately) alcohol-free. The other is about 10 percent alcohol. 🥂🍾
