What exactly does "diffuse cystic mastopathy" mean, and is it a cause for concern? Breast cancer, mammography, breast diagnostics?

Good evening,

My gynecologist noticed a change in my breast during a breast examination and then performed an ultrasound. He referred me for breast diagnostics to rule out cancer.

I got an appointment at the breast diagnostics practice, but unfortunately it's not for another four months.

I (46 years old) sometimes experience a slight pulling sensation in my chest, but I don't know what to interpret. The referral states the diagnosis, and there's something on a piece of paper attached to it that I don't understand or can't decipher. What exactly does that mean? Thank you for your help. Best regards.

Please don’t worry too much!

A mastopathy is a good change in the chest. When the glands grow in mastopathy, they can produce more liquid. There are many small, diffuse cysts > cystic mastopathy. This does not mean that you are ill with a mamma carcinoma.

In an atypical, prol holiday mastopathy can degenerate the cells and the risk for a mamma carcinoma is increased. Your doctor has caused further diagnostics to be excluded. Of course, your doctor can try to speed up the appointment.

I wish you all the best!

There is “Endometrium ablatio” and hysterectomy.

This means that cervical mucosa is removed or the cervical nut has been removed?

Guess that this is simply a short indication of treatments already carried out.

Addendum: The suspicion diagnosis translates as something like: “There is a funny cynubble in the chest”.

Yes, I would agree that the MFAs have mistakenly glued it to the wrong bank transfer.

4 months are too long!
Of course, it can be a good thing, but if not, you have to be treated immediately! It counts every week!

I’d drive 500km. I received the appointment for the Mammo and Biopsie in Bremen within a week. Your gyn has to get pressure. That’s not how it works.

Press the thumbs! When they call, they usually get a faster schedule. Otherwise, I would clean clinks.
