What kind of jobs are there with horses?

I'd like to do something with horses later on, but I don't know what all the work involves. I've done a bit of research and have always found "horse trainer."

Do any of you work with horses and what exactly?
Thanks in advance (:

Honestly, there are main occupations almost only horse farms, some hoofing or nurses and veterinarians.

Osteopaths, physiotherapists, medical practitioners, trainers etc. can usually not live from it, it is more hobby than profession. It is simply due to the working hours and the much too low hourly rates.

Won’t few hoofsmiths/careers do this just by the way!

The sattler has little to do with the horse! For this, however, much with leather wood metal and plastic, depending on the orientation also with CNC and robot!

Then there are still trainers, more ready, stunt riders, riding instructors, film horse trainers, horse whisperers.

I’m mixing balls.

You can combine many professions with horses. For example, as an editor of an equestrian magazine or as a salesman at a food retailer… the possibilities are almost unlimited with some imagination.

Editor in a horse magazine, since the magazines all nag on the famine scarf, the number of employees is even smaller than in the other professions around the horse who can live well.

Feed merchants there the horse is only one at business and the last red, as my wholesaler always confirms, as private customers expect their horse to be the most sacred on earth and not pay for their performance. Technical advice costs and that is worth investing for 1 000 euros, 3 hours is not worth it.

These are only examples where I would like to make it clear that with many professions you can be “on or around” the horse.

A friend of mine is a journalist and writes for an equestrian magazine. She has 3 horses and rides in the L/M area Dressur. Of course, I don’t know if she has other sources of income except her writing.

If not feed dealers, then just open horse sports business.

Accountant in a stud.

In the tourism work with a traveller who offers horse riding trips – if it is very great, you are the person who rides to the test on the farms offered.

Whether horse farmer, hoofsmith, sattler, veterinarian, veterinarian helper, hapter, or whatever – a golden hand is always necessary if you want to make your hobby money… but first of all it was not necessary for good merit, but with “with horses”.

I certainly won’t get rich from the crap. 😉

professional drivers.

the transport of animals on top and then for large gymnastics through the opposite.

you will not get rich with it, for that you have been busy working hours. that’s the same.

for hufschmied, you must have completed a metal job in D beforehand and then hang the teaching behind it again. only thought of as info.

hufschmied is a training profession.

I don’t work with horses, I just have a care share, but since I used to want to do something with horses I can tell you that you can make horse farmer, there are different disciplines like zb special riding,… etc

click through 😉

Nice idea. Only: if you have to click through it, you have no good chances in the area.

so I mean more to look at the internet how many different disciplines there are in this profession 🙂

It’s all right – it’s nothing. Is sweet of you, but anyone who needs to watch on the Internet simply lacks the experience that would be necessary to start such a training. For those who stay in appropriate riding institutes for years will get in practice what the people around him have learned and must have learned.
There are 5 disciplines – and there is no one who does not require extensive knowledge. The least demanding is probably “service and posture”, but even there no one will take an apprentice who is completely alien to the professional handling of horses and who has not at least solid basic knowledge in riding or driving.
I know less about special riding, but I’m sure they don’t want to be a “children’s crane” there, and I expect you to understand the special riding style above average.

Hi.

You could be a riding teacher.
