Which do you think would be better for you and why? City or village?

After I explained to someone that I'd moved from the city to the village, the first question was which would be better: City or village? The person expected me to certainly prefer the city, but at the time I found the village refreshing and healthier for me, so I explained that it was probably strange, but that I currently like both equally well. Both have advantages and disadvantages. I'm a city kid, grew up there, and as I got older, I desperately needed a break from my family, so I moved away. To a place where the nearest town is a 20-minute drive at most, and the town isn't particularly big either. I've been completely satisfied so far, but I'm considering moving back. Looking forward to it, I see more advantages in the city, because, for example, it's easier to pursue creative pursuits without having to travel far. Tell me why you prefer one over the other.

I come from the city (more than 200,000 EW), but I have already lived in the village (1,700 EW). Now I live in a small town (33,000 EW) at the gates of the Hamburg metropolis (1.9 million EW). Has and had all such advantages and disadvantages.

The disadvantage of the village was that it was expected that you will be at the Schützenverein and the Volunteer Fire Brigade. Don’t go with me, you’re an outsider.

In my current small town everything is clear and can be reached quickly. There’s nothing there is. In about 30 minutes you’ll be in HH center.

A city also has advantages, but I prefer villages.

Central city or Near a big city.

Everyone has to make this for themselves.

I personally like the quiet atmosphere of the village. Everyone knows everyone here and greets. You can snuck a little at the garden fence at the Becker or whatever and almost all help each other when it comes to it.

It’s a little more impersonal in town.

The next city is 5 minutes from here where I get everything for daily needs and the next slightly larger city about 20 minutes away so that I don’t drive eternity and can do anything or get it.

I grew up in a big city and still live here. For me, life on the village would simply not come into question, I also need a lot of action around me. So if I go somewhere else, probably to a bigger city

Would a life in the village prefer life in a city in general! Dörfliche structures offer more rest, more rest and finally also more quality of life! If I didn’t have them, I would definitely rather live in a village!

You just have more opportunities for leisure and work.

I have plenty of space around me, my little kingdom. And if I want to rest, I just don’t have to close the door. My beds plunder the snails.

And constantly I have free action: I see more rare butterflies, then various dragonflies…., most of all: the light bulbs!!!!……. I barely know my entire property.

Disadvantage: o.k. I have to go on shopping……

I can never live in the village.
