Hey,

I think your question is not quite unjust, because in some sense ChatGPT was certainly also significant at launch, which means interaction with people and AI.

As a main reason, however, I would not appreciate that. Like many other AI, ChatGPT is also a product of companies that want to take a certain market gap and want to simplify some tasks with this product. We live in an age where digitalization and automation are particularly present, so AI are particularly interesting and therefore achieve a wide range.

Greetings,
Marcel

No, not only. ChatGPT & Co has come to stay.

The hype is over. But language models are further developed and will remain an integral part of society in the future.

In a way yes, but not only. The release of ChatGPT was free and is both advertising and a kind of open beta. From a certain point of development, it was necessary to confront the AI to a large audience in order to know what effect the interaction has and what errors, side effects etc occur, as there is an unpredictable large number of applications that one cannot all anticipate and in which undesirable answers or other effects can occur.

As a test I would not consider ChatGPT, however, we now know the AI is great and brings with it a great milestone of technology
