Whether you need a visa or not, depends on your state authority. As a German, Austrian or Swiss citizen, you can count on those who do not want a visa for a stay of hoechstens 30 days (can be cancelled for another 30 days on site). Of course, you need a passport that should be valid for at least 6 months on arrival.

Only if you were in a yellow fever area before, you have to prove a yellow fever vaccination. This is the only vaccination that is currently required. If you weren’t in a yellow fever area, you don’t need any vaccination. However, tetanus and hepatitis A (depending on sexual behavior also hepatitis B) should be refreshed beforehand if necessary.

a lot of visas, transit permits, some people have done it. you need a lot of time and money

Flying, ticket booking, passport is still valid and until 4 weeks a visa is not even due.

In Bangkok, Monsun is at present and he is sometimes really violent, so stand up for a lot of rain. Many are surprised when they travel to BKK in the summer and expect to be tired.

You have to see if any vaccinations are mandatory for Thailand (as far as I know there is no obligation). So you don’t have to go to the doctor. If you want to, you have to ask what he recommends…

Enter Thailand is easy. No need.

Have fun!
