What does head movement mean in a budgie?

Hello everyone!

I got two budgies yesterday, and I've noticed something very strange about the female. Whenever she's hanging from the cage bars, she occasionally throws her head back, several times in a row. The vet says she's perfectly healthy. Could this be a habit of the budgie? Or maybe she misses the other budgies? Or could it be something else? Her companion doesn't exhibit this behavior, only the female.

In order to answer your question, you should see this movement exactly.

Maybe you can set a small video of it to the Internet and provide it with the corresponding link.

Then your question should be answered helpfully.

Unfortunately, this is not possible only by hand of a vague description.

By the way, you can rate all the answers you receive beforehand as worthless.

Because the answering lay people just think of something.

I think what you mean is normal.

Most of the waves buck the head up and down while talking.

No reason for concern if it persists the bars with the beak in this way. :
