Was bedeutet das? Laptop?

That the laptop has not found a start option for an operating system (hard disk, network, USB stick, etc.) to continue loading an operating system.

This can mean that the hard drive is defective, or the boot options have been adjusted and the hard drive is no longer actively used. You can check this in the BIOS, or most laptops leave you in the boot menu at the beginning by pressing F9, F10 or F12. Select the hard drive (often only shown as “Windows Boot Manager”). If the hard drive is not selectable, the hard drive is probably dead.

The screenshot offers the one Factory Recovery function (via F4), but it resets all your data and works even if the hard drive still works. From the feedback I say 90% “no”, nix.

I strongly assume that this is the core of the problem. She’ll be dead, and she won’t come back. Therefore, the laptop can no longer boot from the hard drive.

I hope there are no important data on the hard drive (or a backup exists). Data recovery is likely to only work with a bit of effort. HDD hard drives (magnetic disks) have a relatively good chance to save data as long as the hard drive is detected, SSD barely (Solid States, chip-based).

Hard drives can give up the mind from one moment on the other, as all other components in the device unfortunately also (e.g. motherboard, then the laptop suddenly does not start anymore).

In laptops, hard drives (HDD and SSD) are mostly damaged by increased operating temperatures (even space, hardly ventilation) over time. Reduces their lifetime.

Turn off the laptop for 15 minutes and pull all the cables, also electricity. With a bit of luck, everything cools down so far that the hard drive is back. But this is also just a temporary solution. So that can happen again.

Each laptop usually has a kind of hardreset function to simulate a battery-pull, so all components can be unloaded. Lenovo has its own switch hidden, at HP you have to keep working with the turn-on button for 30 seconds to trigger the reset. These resets might help if the hard drive is hung only by the controller and is not started cleanly cold because the battery always provides easy power.

But a hard drive can be replaced, new hard drive, OS install via USB stick and is good.

There is probably the SSD / HDD defective. This can be repaired by the computer store.

Just press F4 and it’s all hot again

Try it a few times.

This is only when there is really a recovery partition that is readable. And the questioner has already tried that.
