How does sodium hydroxide react with nitric acid?
Hi, I have to solve some equations for chemistry. How does sodium hydroxide react with nitric acid? I thought it would react as NaOH + HNO3 -> Na2NO3 + 2H20, but that doesn't work because I only have 1H. Does anyone know the correct way?
The pH value is the negative decadent logarithm of the H3O+ ion concentration.
If you have a HCl acid with a concentration of 0.1 mol/l, then you add the 0.1 mol/l to the formula and get the pH value
And that’s what I mean for the mol?
Ig stands for logarithm – not ig but lg. You enter this in the calculator and then put the c=0.1mol/l in the clamp.
This is not a ig, but it should be LG (only written, depending on the font i and l can see very similar). The term is therefore the logarithm to the base 10, also written as log10 or short lg. See also here: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decadian_Logarithmus
This is a decadent logarithm (ell-ge).
