Warum wird Berlin mit Parkuhren zugeflastert?
Der größte Teil vom Bezirk Berlin Wedding besitzt nun Parkuhren und in Kreuzberg/ Friedrichshain wurden diese flächendeckend erweitert. Trotz dessen, hat sich die Parksituation nicht verändert, es gibt weiterhin kaum Parkplätze. Jetzt darf man aber nach langer Parkplatzsuche 5-10 Euro für paar Stunden zahlen. Ich meide jetzt deshalb die Bezirke mit dem Auto, wo ich vorher gerne hingefahren bin.
Was ist das Ziel? Parkraum schaffen wurde wie gesagt nicht. Es hält eher die Leute fern diese Orte mit dem Auto zu besuchen. Muss Deutschland die Gelder der Ukrainespenden etc. wieder ausgleichen?

there are several reasons, but the main reason is quite simple:
On the one hand, the government in Berlin wants to have fewer cars (you should drive in Berlin, LG from among others the Greens) and if cars are parked there, you are strongly asked to pay. The city urgently needs money and the car driver is just getting ripped off.
In my opinion, every other argument does not weigh so much. This is clearly money-making and the policy of small needle stitches against the car drivers or the automobile individual traffic.
But be glad that you can park against money for an infinitely long time (my mom lives in wedding). At least I don’t have to resolve the parking ticket every two hours or go 1000 m to a garage.

Ukraine has nothing to do with it. As you said, this will keep cars away from there. That’s the point.
