Warum wird Arzt und Tierarzt getrennt. Warum lernen Ärzte nicht Human und Tiermedizin zusammen, sodass alle Krankemhäuser?

Und Praxen ein Mix aus verschieden Tieren wird.

That would not be good for hygiene if there were people treated there also animals treated

It would not be possible for hygienic reasons alone.

Human and veterinary medicine are both highly demanding. A single person can hardly study and practice both, nor make expensive training for both directions.

Would you also want to be treated by someone who was a few minutes before the shoulder with the arm in the back of a cow?

Man is also a mammal, but we are preferred by other viruses as animals as host, our anatomy then differs a little from that of a goldfish or a hamster, a person needs a different dosage in medication than a dog… It is good and right that a distinction is made between human and veterinary medicine.

Because this would be a huge effort and the doctors would probably be finished with their studies just before the pension.

😂 That is the nonsense you can think of yourself. This would be much too much learning material for a single person, although it would theoretically be conceivable, but this is precisely because the doctor can only scratch topics on the surface. Not for free there are specialist doctors in animals as well as in humans who specialize in zb the heart, lungs, bones etc.

Well, you could do an animal department at the hospital. But there are also practices for the different areas. You’re not going to the skin doctor with your eyes.

So I found it bad to be in a sick room with a woman with severe dementia. But a wounded grizzly bear in the cot must not be real now.

1. Hygiene reasons.

Two. With human medicine you have an incredibly heavy degree anyway. There is no need for veterinary medicine. Somewhere’s over.

3. Seriously, what would that do?

Because it would mean a much longer study than it was. And someone who only wants to treat people does not need veterinary medicine knowledge and vice versa.

You cannot specialize in everything and learn everything to humans and animals.

It is much easier, better and more hygienic so.. I don’t want to get my prophylaxis next to animals.

So with doctors, I’d like them to be specialized in people and not in a gekko.

You’ll be in a twin room with a cow.
