When I'm interviewed, I'm either taken for a ride or given answers like, "We can't offer you a position in this area." What's wrong with you? Well, every supermarket has a predetermined number of hours of staff and a personal fee. If this is already exhausted or as good as, the branch manager cannot hire anyone. In addition, the pressure from above is always due to cause as little as possible (personal) costs.
