Why doesn't anyone want to hire me?
I'm a trained retail merchant, and for reasons I'm not completely unaware of, I can't find a job. I'm over 6'3" and have no criminal tendencies. When I'm interviewed, I'm either taken for a ride or given answers like, "We can't offer you a position in this area." What's wrong with you? You complain about a lack of skilled workers, but you don't want to hire a trained merchant.
Well, every supermarket has a predetermined number of hours of staff and a personal fee. If this is already exhausted or as good as, the branch manager cannot hire anyone. In addition, the pressure from above is always due to cause as little as possible (personal) costs.
I do not think that there is a very large shortage of skilled workers in the retail trade. There are other sectors (health/care, IT etc.) affected.
Maybe your application documents are not so good that they remain positive or your grades and work certificates are more average.
What does the body size have to do with the place? And that you don’t have any criminal intentions would probably presume every employer in every place…
If a job is written out, I’m going to get someone looking for it. The documents are the middle of the average. And you’re a corpse-sized one with it as a Persian aspect, but you don’t have a wandniss.
Well, average average isn’t very good. So why should you be hired when others score significantly better?
Then the decision maker chose someone else. Just continue to apply and hope it works. Or somehow try to lift off positively from the mass of retailers.
Probably this should be the decision if I were a little younger.
I can understand that, but if it doesn’t work, you have to reorientate yourself.
Because you want to work in the work you have learned.
The other applicants also have no criminal ambitions and the body size has nothing to do with it. There must be other reasons, for example, that the others are better qualified or have made a better figure in the interview.
Probably when there are others.
You know how many people have applied to the job.
Others are better than you, whatever. Learn and improve it.
I will.
Skill shortage does not mean that you can set up any x-popular applicant.
You’ll have any deficits. Finding and fixing this is now important.
I guess so. I need to see them.
So, what it’s up to, of course, can’t say here if you’re acting so funny in ideas and throwing strange things into space (I mean, what has your body size of 1.90m to look here, why are you talking about criminal ambitions, it’s about a job o.O).
The interview is only about matters of fact. What is the task and how far do they trust?
I have an expressive self-confidence and show it in an interview. I’m the one who’s insecure.
If a jobless person (probably not only yesterday) appears on job search already during the job interview with “expressed self-confidence” – I would also consider it twice as if I were to hire it.
Just a little self-reflection – you want the job, you are unemployed to appear with “expressed self-confidence” is somewhat inappropriate in the situation. And to say, “joa, if it doesn’t fit him, I’m wrong” is somehow almost absurd in the situation.
For me that sounds as if the reason for the lack of success in the way of appearance. As far as you can tell by remote diagnosis and a few sentences.
I don’t reject your attitude, I’m gonna say thank you for the answer.
Well, you wanted to hear an assessment of what you might lack or why no one wants to hire you. You have my assessment or Presumption belongs – but this is categorical. Your thing.
On the one hand, as a merchant, you have to put on a balanced self-confidence. And the fact is if man still exists and communication on a stable level is not possible “it doesn’t fit and that applies to both sides.”
Well, obviously you’re not as great as you mean. Other candidates are obviously better suited.
If your grammar and punctuation is always so bad and can be seen in your application documents, for example, this could be a reason.
First I have a car correction and in school my grammar was rated 2.On the other hand, you’re right there are always people who are better in some areas. It’s the personnel department or department.
Right. So you’re just gonna keep trying.
This is so thanks for the feedback
My tip: Why don’t you contact a personal agent? I had very good experiences. They themselves are interested in their candidates presenting themselves optimally to the employer. I’m not talking about time work. These are two completely different things.
Your resume would be interesting for this and how you present yourself in the interview. Something’s better for other applicants.
I took a long time to find a job for me. Now I’m 46 years old and somehow most employees have the feeling that they have to take me on the arm.
Hmmm… so if that’s the answer to my posting now, it won’t surprise me that you won’t be taken. Topic missed.
Take a job check at the job center. Maybe you’re doing something wrong.
What is your body size to do with your qualification?
Did you have your “applications” checked professionally?
Yes I have and it is really basically taken my body size has nothing to do with it.
Yes and the body size is just one aspect that I have chosen as an irregular n point.
