Why does my boyfriend want me to take the pill?

Hey,

I'm 17 and recently talked to my boyfriend about the pill and why I don't take it.

I explained to him that, on the one hand, I don't want to have any side effects (such as weight gain) and, on the other hand, I'm taking medication that might not be compatible with it.

He was just like, "Ah, okay," but I could tell it kind of bothered him.

Why? Because there are other ways to prevent pregnancy, right?

These are guys, and I say consciously “Jungs” because that for me are small immature children, who do not want to accept that they have to wear condoms and cannot simply spray freely everywhere. Because they don’t feel anything like that. They do all of them, of course. Wouldn’t let me in on such a discussion, your body, your choices. You want him to take the pill.

Because they don’t feel anything like that.

Ask women, even many women find sex without condom significantly better. The only way to push the man is once again very simplistic.

Or can be sterilized. Then he doesn’t need to be afraid of becoming a father.

Weight gain is not a side effect of the pill – the water retention at the beginning of the intake is 1-2 kg and disappear after a few weeks from alone when the body has become used to the pill.

But if you take medicines that have interactions with the pill, then this is a good reason not to take them.

I’m just going to take advantage of your friend that he wants to avoid as safe as possible – and this is the double prevention, condom plus pill.

But if you can’t take the pill, it’s done, and you’re just the condom.

In the package leaflet of my pill, both weight gain (frequently) and water retention (occasually) are listed. Is there any sources that say this goes away after a few weeks? It wasn’t until after the drop-off.

In the package leaflet, unfortunately, all the side effects are included, which Ever under any Pills have occurred. This does not mean that such side effects have occurred in the last 30 years among modern, low dosed pills, it is in place for liability reasons.

In fact, there are enough studies that show that weight gain under the pill is not more common than among other contraceptives.

such as weight gain

Then apply for a Nobel Prize for the discovery that the pill puts out the laws of nature.

Sorry, however, “weight increase” is quite the dumbest reason you can find for it.

Back to topic: the reason is probably the same as for many others, both men and women, the pill is a reliable and simple method of prevention. And even though some women are contradicted here (from reflex and habit), sex with condom is not the same as without and not for both parties.

The side effects of the pill simply ignore is typical male ignorance. If you want her to throw the hormone bombs in, he doesn’t have to worry.

Stupid for you, that I have not ignored the side effects of the pill at any point and your criticism is therefore without any basis.

If you want her to throw the hormone bombs in, he doesn’t have to worry.

I’m not saying that she should take the pill.

Visit the language for textual understanding after that you can report again if you have actually understood my answer.

The weight gain is a side effect of the pill because some women, due to the hormones, store a lot of water, as does not help healthy diet or sports. It only helps to change the pill or put it down.

We are not talking about 3-5kg, but some about 20kg

Then apply for a Nobel Prize for the discovery that the pill puts out the laws of nature.

Before you beat anything from Nobel Prizes, you might want to spend a little more on basic anatomy or pharmacology. Due to their hormonal influences, the pill can increase the weight directly and indirectly (or also lower). On the one hand, an increase in appetite can occur, on the other hand, due to hormonal fluctuations, water retention or a reduced metabolism can occur.

Although there is no evidence-based basis for weight gain in connection with the pill in large-scale studies, this phenomenon should not be suppressed and evaluated. Again and again, individual cases occur in which acute weight changes occur. Especially in medicine there is no “total rule” that is true.

So please inform yourself before you play down the worries of others and get rid of them.

Please inform yourself about the laws of nature. Mass cannot be created from nothing.

One can increase appetite

That’s the only thing that’s correct and this is where discipline helps. But there is no such thing today

But I would say we end this here, after all, we will certainly not agree here.

Right. If one thinks that one can make personal responsibility out of the world, that really has no meaning.

Then you reduce the recording.

That is correct, but this is the therapy of the problem. And that was not the basis of our discussion.

We have discussed whether the pill (with a constant lifestyle) can lead to an increase in weight. And yes, she can.

But I would say we end this here, after all, we will certainly not agree here.

If the energy your body absorbs but is used differently (slow metabolism), then this can definitely lead to a weight gain.

Then you reduce the recording. The concept is not so complicated.

Mass cannot be created from nothing.

I’ve never claimed that mass from which nothing is created. If the energy your body absorbs but is used differently (slow metabolism), then this can definitely lead to a weight gain.

The same applies to the water retentions mentioned. Of course, there is no water from that, that’s clear to me. However, it is simply not, as with a “healthy” person, excreted and edema is formed due to an imbalance of the colloidal-smotic pressure.

Thus, no substances are produced, but they are used differently, degraded and excreted.

Morfi655

Because it is a lazy sack and the tiny quality restriction by condoms is more important than your physical well-being and risk of thrombosis.

There’s only brutal education, and if he doesn’t understand, I’m cautious that he’s not the right one.

Because he can’t understand. Guys like to have Gv without rubber, but don’t understand what the women are talking about. Stay strong and reasonable.

Would the Symptothermal method be what for you? Vllt would be a compromise for you. The method is even safer than the pill and has no side effects. One measures the basal temperature and another body symptoms. At the fertile time one uses a condom, at the infertile time one can do without it. But there is a little interest in the cycle. I use as a help for this https://trackle.de/
