It’s been a while since I’ve seen movies or documentation in which elephants occur, but I’m thinking of renunciating that they’ve “rolled” the end of the rattle when walking/running backwards (sometimes also forwards; depending on what they want to do).

very simple. When Fantis move forward, especially when running, they raise the head and with it bean up.

Have you ever seen a Fanti with “hanging” head wandering?

Elephants keep the trunk a bit high while running.
