Why are the Three Investigators still so popular?

They've been around for almost 50 years now and aren't losing any fans. Quite the opposite: They're constantly gaining more. Where does the hype around the Three Investigators come from? And why do you listen to them/don't you listen to them?

I look forward to short and interesting answers 😀

This is generation-crossing and therefore still so popular. I’ve read the books as a teenager and later when I had a tape recorder, CD hasn’t heard. I passed the books and cassettes to my children and they were also enthusiastic. As soon as I become grandma, I have put books, cassettes and tape recorders aside and when time comes, my grandchild gets these things.

I believe the charm of the series is maintained by the fact that the old episodes are not timeless, but nostalgic, while the newer episodes are heard to relive the nostalgic feeling. I am 13 and listen to the series above all because my parents have encouraged me.

Popularity has nothing to do with “Hype”, but simply that it is good.

I also don’t know, I’m just getting a bit boring as she is.. Just like Harry Potter and Warrior Cats and all the other funny (popular, why always) rows.

Why hear? I read them, my children read them. It’s not a hype, it’s just a classic.

I’m 16 and I always want to listen to her. I don’t know I think the consequences are quite exciting and sometimes seriously creepy.
