Why does the chicken look like that?
Good evening,
I wanted to make this chicken using the recipe from this YouTube video:
The first comment on the video includes a link that discusses the recipe in detail. It states that the chicken should be salted and then refrigerated for 24 hours.
The photo shows the chicken after 24 hours.
Why does it look so disgusting now? Did I do something wrong? Can it still go in the oven?
I guess you didn’t spread the salt well.
It doesn’t look very good at some places.
I guess this hasn’t even seen an oven…
Maybe from outside
it wasn’t in the oven. But is the appearance normal?
That’s totally burned, don’t you see? The chicken looks terrible!
The video:
Are we talking about 2 different videos?
She doesn’t look so burned. With me, it’s about 18 hours in the salted state.
The video you hired here? Nee, this is far from tasty.
With her in the video it looked delicious.
Salt removes moisture, the refrigerator as well. Just put it in the oven and see what’s going on. By the way, I don’t find the recipe so great, the skin is much too much burned.
Was that the mistake? The recipe explicitly mentions that no cover should be done about it.
Well, looks very dry, was that without cover in the refrigerator?
You can’t go without the oven!
I wonder if it looks normal after the salt treatment.
‘Normal’ it only when it was cooked in the oven. see
