Why do some predators look so cute from a human perspective?
Someone who has never seen or heard of a bear probably won't be afraid of them. The same is probably true for many wolves, and some wild cats, such as panthers, don't really look dangerous. As a human, one should instinctively panic at the sight of them.
Sure, every enlightened person knows that a bear is not for cuddling, but instinctively that doesn't seem to be the case.
So why do some predators look so cute?

Adult predators don’t look really sweet or cute. They are beautiful animals but really sweet or cute not. As young animals, because they still have the child scheme that triggers the mother’s protective instinct. Some dogs were bred so that they have their child’s scheme all life to the suffering of many of these breeds. And for a long time, people had an escape instinct for larger predators. Today many are often presented as easy to control and tame in many films or shows. That’s why some think they’re harmless. Actually, they rarely attack people, but a bear with boys, I wouldn’t approach. No lion or tiger.
Man is the most dangerous animal on the planet. And that was like that 100000 years ago. So why should we have developed a flight reflex?
this is nonsense only since the man has developed great civilizations and have improved the weapons (from spear and keule to bow and armbrushes) if we were missing (in today’s time we were shooting guns) we would stand down the food chain again.
It doesn’t need advanced tools to be dangerous. People can and could communicate excellently with each other and thus protect themselves more effectively. An example: Cats hunt animals that run away from them and run away from animals that come to them. It happens that a mouse can briefly scare a cat. The same principle applies to lions. So it doesn’t take long until the first people found out that the most effective protection is not running away. This is, by the way, still a tactic of natural peoples in Africa. They wait until the lion’s prey and then go straight to them. The lions run away and the people take their prey.
