Why not make a virtue out of necessity?
Instead of complaining that everything is getting more expensive, one could consider that the German lifestyle as a whole has long since become unsustainable.
Earth Overshoot Day was on May 4th in Germany this year!
You know what Malthusianism is?
This view of the world is widespread among the apocalyptic currents of environmental protection (climate change is the end of life), mainly among those who do not believe that by new or more efficient methods one can achieve the same or greater result with the same or less resource savings, the most well-known representatives of the Malthumanisus are “Club of Rome”.
After this worldview, it is the top priority to prevent the growth of prosperity everywhere, e.g. through birth control, ban of modern technologies and working methods and a contained and minimalist lifestyle.
For decades, I have lived virtuously in this sense: without a car, without a refrigerator. In the building car with 10m2 I came over the winter with about 1m3 wood. But I never felt it as a need, rather than freedom from the constraints of the money system. As Laozi said, “Rich is who knows pleasures“.
Even now and in the future, I could live like that if it was all about me. But now I am married and my wife is too sensitive and not robust enough for such a life.
Give her various pulse warmers that match her clothes 😊.
If that were so easy.
I wanted to ask, why not?, but that’s going to be too private!
That sounds like a despot theory. Drive the carts unnecessarily to the wall and then say, now we can save fuel and not observe the other affected persons of the accident.
We haven’t been doing anything else for decades than driving the carts in front of the wall.
However, since this is a structural problem, the kene question is the icy one that can no longer afford self-esteemed life, e.g. bioproducts are then no longer affordable.
I rarely buy products processed in any form and take what is in the residual box in the biostore. In a supermarket, I asked in the vegetable department about things for the chickens on Wednesday, and got a trunk full of stuff, where I was able to dip a lot for me. There were, for example, 3 kilos of strawberries. 1-2 bad strawberries and the whole container is thrown away.
So what? Should all do this, you have nothing more and the organic farms are broke
What’s wrong with you, that you think you’re a sensible solution to the harmful system?
in third of all foods is thrown away, so there is plenty of air so that others can do it the same. I’m just gonna go shopping every two weeks.
It’s good that you’ve been living so conscious for 15 years, but you can’t give it to others at the touch of a button! You didn’t run in the shoes of others!
What do you mean, “slip over at the push of a button”? For 50 years it has been clear where this lifestyle leads.
And right, I never walked in the shoes of the super-conspirators, but are they supposed to hurt me now?
For 50 years? I’m 60 and I’ve only been aware of this for about 15 or 20 years. But we have our conditioned patterns and “What I had, no one can take me anymore!” I have had to bury so many close people very early and what brings the future is completely unclear. I live consciously, don’t throw anything away, share in the fair divider and buy it used. I’m sure I won’t let myself be guarded if I do anything!
Super conspirators certainly don’t spend their time at GF!
I like to look at how others do and learn. The type in the following video enthuses me totally, but also Sikkim, where only organic can be grown.
Dryland-harvesting home gathers sun, rain, food, & more
Okay, we’ll be together again. The problem is that elsewhere in the world the environment has zero weight. After all, Sadhguru was now in 30 (?) countries and spoke to them about “Rette den Boden”. I think everyone has committed themselves to doing so. It does.
Let’s say that, for 50 years, this has been known to me personally not for so long. It only started after 2007 that I was interested in something that has to do with politics.
At some point, I started to significantly reduce my “bearing” of energy, even though I haven’t used so much before. First measure, I think, was the thought about tea bag 😂. I compared the energy and resource needs of tea bags compared to loose tea. And so it went on.
You don’t take into account the people who have little anyway. It’s more like you’re hitting your head with your statement.
I’m one of the people who don’t have anything. It’s always been like that.
Apparently still enough to limit you. But there are quite many people who have no buffer anymore.
I’ve been using this less for years, for about 15 years very special.
Said her and took a chilled water from the refrigerator
😂 – I haven’t had a refrigerator in operation for 6-7 years.
Welcome to the club, then I’m sorry the comment
naja, either a PC/smartphone or a fridge😂😂
Yeah, that’s it. I don’t even feel good about it and I don’t feel it.
But you understand what I want.
Many complain that it is too warm, and buy air conditionings that all are still forcing etc
Don’t worry. Can’t guess I’m just trying on myself what’s possible.
😊 – not even that. paid 150 euros for it 3-4 years ago.
uuh an oldtimer, probably cost a fortune
I have an older notebook – as a luxury!
Jammering is easier.
True, but a funny mentality is the 😂.
